New Kid On The Block: The Meritz Hotel Miri

Meritz Hotel, the latest four-star business class hotel in the heart of Miri, with of contemporary elegance and luxury. At the moment, the hotels just open its door since 15th March 2012. Expected to be fully operation by the final quarter of the year 2012.

Now, let me share my finding from my recent "site" visit, basically I found this hotel has it's boutique concept, with both cater for business and leisure travelers.

The exterior view of the "new kids on the block".. :)

The massive & elegance lobby.

The M-Bar. A nice avenue to relaxing amidst awaiting. Unique, with a boutique concept. You can enjoy your evening coffee here till a glass of wine till late night.. :)

The main attraction - The Grand Old Lady  Restaurant. Located on the 18thfloor of the hotel, this All Day Dining  restaurant offers a blend of local, Western and Oriental cuisines with live cooking stations. A vibrant ambiance and spectacular view overlooking the entire city. Something new in Miri, and should be experienced for those who wish to see the beauty of Miri City, while indulging yourself with the delicacies offered.

The spacious outdoor lounge near the swimming pool..something new to experience the city view at night.

Now, the room area. I didn't have the chance to visit the room due to high occupancy. What amazed me is the lobby lounge of every floor. The atrium give comfort to guests to relax and makes a different experience.  I just love the blue carpet; something cool in my eyes.. :) Wasn't it something cool to see?
In these photos, the atrium is for the 8th, 9th & 10th floor.
